- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆Mr Manahan was the paid attorney of a friend of mine. My friend, though an opiate addict was innocent of the charges against him (burglary, etc.), but Mr. Manahan seemed to side with the prosecution and encouraged his client to take the first plea deal offered. My friend was railroaded into 6 years in county jail. In my opinion, Mr. Manahan was pursuing interests other than those of his client in order to further his own career in some way. My friend is a law-abiding family man, not used to jails and courts. He was so scared of the maximum sentence, he accepted 6 years. Now his family is broken apart, and he is a different person.
